It’s Day 34 in the Big Brother house and producers have finally decided to meddle in the game.
Last night, Big Brother announced a poll in the app that could “change the game”. Upon entering the app, viewers are asked the following:
“Once again the power is in your hands. What do YOU want, vote to EVICT or Vote to SAVE? Your choice will affect this week’s first public eviction vote and remain in place for public votes for the rest of the series. The poll closes on Wednesday 17th October at midday. #YouDecide”

It’s genuinely not OK how quickly this series is going by. I’m loving this series in a lot of ways – although it’s not been without its teething problems by trying to focus heavily on game play.
I love the game play dynamic, but sometimes I feel like they focus the edit so heavily on game play chat it takes away from the primary format of the show which is watching a group of people from different backgrounds mix.
The age range of the housemates this series has been a drawback for me too. Read the rest of this entry
It’s Day 22 and somehow this is my first housemate rankings. I can only apologise! Life has been mega busy as many of you will have seen I’ve barely been tweeting.
Life is getting a bit less busy now so hopefully I’ll be tweeting more now.. I know you’re all DISTRAUGHT without me.
But lets get to the point, here’s my first housemate rankings! Read the rest of this entry
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the majority of this year, you will no doubt have heard that Channel 5 are yet to sign a contract for any more series of Big Brother or Celebrity Big Brother after 2018.
If that’s to change – Big Brother needs you. WE need YOU.
Very recently, the Channel 5 big boss Ben Frow stated that, although negotiations are not are, he is “planning for a year without Big Brother”. Signalling the end to an 18 year franchise which has been shown to still have a lot of life in it, unless another, more worthy broadcaster, signs it up. Read the rest of this entry
With just ten days to go before what is rumoured to be the final series of Big Brother ever – The final Big Brother eye logo has been revealed, and it is unlike anything that has ever come before it!
Here’s what Channel 5 has to say about it:
“With this brand-new series comes the first surprise, a brand-new take on the Big Brother eye – an interplanetary orb of luminous colours. Big Brother is ready with a bold new series of tasks and twists to challenge and surprise the housemates!” Read the rest of this entry
Roxanne Pallett, after walking from the Celebrity Big Brother house on Friday night, has just made her first media appearance and interview on the brand new Jeremy Vine show (on Channel 5, funny that).
Before I even get in to what she said, I’d like to make a point. One of the panelists (who admits he’s never seen the show, Big Brother or Celebrity Big Brother and therefore doesn’t have the first clue what he’s talking about) in the interview accused Big Brother of essentially creating this drama on purpose and profiting from it.
I would like to make it very clear that Big Brother are not the ones who wanted Roxanne Pallett on the Jeremy Vine show, and they are certainly not the ones who want her back on THEIR show tonight to be interviewed by Emma Willis. Read the rest of this entry
I’m so sorry. Truly, madly, deeply – sorry.
I feel that the majority of you come to me for your dose of negativity (constructive criticism) and apathy at a show we all enjoy.
For the first time in over 7 years, I can’t give that to you.
I am in love with this series of Big Brother.
Every single aspect of it. Read the rest of this entry
With just three days until Celebrity Big Brother is launched I can (not so) exclusively reveal the 14 housemates who will be gracing the Borehamwood bungalow for the next 4 weeks.
The line up features… 4x reality show trash members, 3x actors, 3x people known for generating column inches and not having been on TV etc, aaand a partridge in a pear tree.
In an amazing production feat, unlike Love Island, they all have different names, so we can rejoice at that at least. Read the rest of this entry
